long awaited picture

okay, here it is the long awaited picture of me in my glasses. this was taken in my classroom during our valentines day party! i ate so much candy!! it was great can't wait until next valentines day! this is not the best picture i've taken so my dad will upload some pictures he took of me this weekend at church.

i guess i should have done this 4 weeks and 12 days ago! you obviously don't know how busy a 6 year can be these days! a lot has changed since i last talked with you all and i will try and bring you up to speed!

okay, i started first grade in the fall of 07 and i feel like first grade is very overrated! although i'm learning a lot, i thought first grade would be just as cool as kindergarten? we've only been on 2 field trips and 1 of them was to a stinky grocery store that my parents always turn their noses up at when i mention going there. i like the store but my parents say all they carry is food that is bad for you. what's wrong with chocolate milk, honey buns, twinkies, frosted flakes, canned biscuits, and flamin' hot cheetohs?

okay, enough about that what have i been doing? i attend a program every thursday after school it's called "let's make a play". i am going to play the lead role of the 10 minute play at the end of this semester! i cannot wait to show off my fine acting skills that i have been developing since...wow birth! i won't talk about that any more my dad says that i shouldn't brag about my acting abilities because everyone can't do what i'm blessed with!

alright, here is the biggest news of all! i am getting glasses! the eye doctor told mom and dad that i was near-sighted but i've complained about not seeing things far away; so i don't understand how glasses that are made to help people that can't see things that are near are going to help me see things that are far away? my dad said that it was just the opposite that near-sighted people can't see things that are far away and far-sighted people can not see things that are near! i'm so confused but i'll have to wait to get my glasses to understand more.

when i get my glasses i will post a picture and keep you all informed of any other life changing events!

it's almost summer!

hi all,

it's been a long time since i updated my blog but here we go! i have been developing my green thump this spring and here is the "fruit" of my labor! i've had a pretty good school year and will miss my teacher this summer. i will be spending the summer in "hot" atlanta, ga! yeah, far from the cool and sunny san diego. no beach but family! i will be spending time with my grandparents! grandma & grandpa and grand mom and grand pop! i talk about going to atlanta every single chance i get! i not sure how i feel about flying but i think i'll be able to manage!

dad gave me a his old camera and i've been taking lots of pictures! this is my tiger he looks like he is flying but he is stuck on dishwasher! i think it looks very funny! i will post some of the pictures from my adventures as soon as we go through them to make sure that we get the best ones.

here are some pictures from a few days ago. i went to the harbor to show off my roller bladin' skills and then to a dog show.


i met a lot of pretty dogs but my favorite was moonie the bloodhound! he had just come home from the westminster dog show in new york! he looked sleepy!


this is me and my beautiful family! my cat cooper is the best! he laid down on a pillow and watched me draw him and my family. its amazing how much we look like the portraits! may we can submit this to the church for the directory!

my name is chloe simone and i live in beautiful and sunny san diego, ca. i am the only child to my parents kelcy and devona. i live in a loft above a print shop downtown near the airport. i have a cat named cooper who eats pet grass every day.

i enjoy school very much. i have learned a lot of new words like wheelbarrow. i am learning to rollerblade and hope to become a roller derby queen someday! i like my barbie doll and her dollhouse!
